A collection of interior and exterior photographs of the Cascade Saloon building in downtown Greensboro prior to its restoration and renovation between 2014 and 2018. The building housed a saloon at the turn of the Twentieth Century and was later occupied by a “main street” cafe owned by an African American family, a rarity during segregation. The Christman Company, a national construction firm, is the current occupant and supplied these images.
