Greensboro History Museum, Inc. Archives

As the institutional archives for the Greensboro History Museum, this collection contains materials relating to the governance of the museum and the functions of its departments. The materials that have been digitized were created for “Army Town: Greensboro, 1943-1946,” an exhibit that was open from 1993 to 1995 and detailed Greensboro’s contributions to the Allied war effort during World War II. They include oral history interviews, the Army Town booklet, and images and other documentation of the exhibit.
