This scrapbook, created by Anna Reid Jones between 1940 and 1944, documents Jones’ experience as a student at Woman’s College of the University of North Carolina (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro). The scrapbook is indexed by Jones and chiefly contains class notes ranging from outlines and composer biographies to musical themes-possibly for a music appreciation class. It also contains handwritten copies of musical compositions, many event programs from local concerts and other musical performances, programs for the first annual Arts Forum, and newspaper clippings. The inside of the back cover is a class schedule chart filled-in by Jones.
